Games merchandise store launches

MEDICINE HAT – Socks, scrunchies, and shirts are among the selections fans of the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games can now make from an official online store ahead of the big event coming this August.

Launched with merchandise vendor Eight 33, the Games’ store (socmedhat2026.itemorder.com) includes an exciting range of accessories, apparel, and outerwear featuring the logo and “We Shine Together” slogan in both French and English. From water bottles to jackets, keychains, and pants, there’s something for everyone to commemorate the 2026 Games taking place Aug. 11-15.

Fans can enjoy flexible purchasing options, with the ability to have items shipped directly to their homes across the country or pick up orders in Medicine Hat.

During the Games, a physical store will be open at Medicine Hat College, along with select pop-up shops at key sport and event venues. The online store will continue to be open right through the end of August in case anyone wants to pick up souvenirs.

While every effort has been made to incorporate both official languages, the online store is not fully bilingual due to limitations of the supplier’s platform. Individuals requiring additional assistance in French are encouraged to contact the Games Office at 403-529-8345, where bilingual staff are available to help.
